$250 bonus (up from $200)Chase's offer, as shown on Chase's own site (Oct 8, 2026)
What the bonus is worth: 25,000 points if combined with a Sapphire.
Limited-time offer.
The easiest bonus here: $500 of normal spending gets you $250, with no fee ever. The limited-time $250 (normally $200) is why it's on the list today. Hold it alongside a Sapphire and the quarterly 5% categories turn into transferable points. Freedom Unlimited has a $200 version with flat 1.5% back if you hate activating categories.
Anyone who wants an easy $250 and a no-fee card that keeps paying. Freedom Unlimited (flat 1.5%, $200 bonus) is the pick if you won't activate categories.

Answered by StackTheDealNo. The Freedom Flex is a no-fee card, so the full $250 is yours to keep.
Answered by StackTheDealEach quarter Chase announces categories (gas, groceries, Amazon, etc.) that earn 5% on up to $1,500 in combined purchases. You have to activate each quarter in the app; otherwise it earns 1%.
Answered by StackTheDealYes. The Freedom Flex is a Chase card, so you need fewer than 5 new cards in 24 months.
Answered by StackTheDealYes. The Flex and Unlimited are separate products; the rule is no Freedom Flex bonus in the last 24 months and you can't currently hold a Flex.
Answered by StackTheDealUsually with the first or second statement after you spend $500, about 4 to 8 weeks.

The 100k bonus is huge, but the $795 fee is real money and the credits are in halves (January–June, July–December), so do the math on your own travel first.
