What counts as a qualifying direct deposit?

Regular ACH credits like payroll, pension or government benefits. Huntington excludes Real-Time Payments and person-to-person transfers like Zelle, Venmo and PayPal, so it has to come from an employer or agency.

When do I get paid and when can I close?

Huntington deposits the bonus within 14 days of meeting the requirements, but the account has to stay open for 90 days to qualify at all. Close before day 90 and you forfeit it.
